Pr Diouf has over fifteen years experience in research, teaching, and consulting in the domains of Earth and environmental sciences. His research focused on natural resources, water quality and treatment such as the removal of hazardous magnetic heavy metal from our water reservoir systems; the biocorrosion problems in oil industry, the use of biogenic materials as field sensors for tracing paleoenvironment on Earth and the finding of traces of ancient life in meteorites from space. Pr. Diouf has had some of his research findings published in many scientific journals and magazines around the world: Geochimica Cosmochimica Acta, Geomichemical Society of Japan journal, Geochemical Society of Europe, Frontiers in Geochemistry, Northeastern Applied Geology and Environmental Sciences Journal, Science Times and many others. His talent and knowledge in the geosciences and environmental sciences has taken him to many places around the world. Pr. Diouf recent and famous discovery was an innovative method of removing biogenic metals from water reservoirs he called the “Magnetic Remediation Method (MRM)” (patented), developed at the Rensselaer Center of Applied Geology and Environmental Sciences in upstate New York.
